SNOBBY AND UNPROFESSIONAL! – OWNER WOULD NOT HONOR AGREEMENT ON A GIFT CERTIFICATE GIVEN BY HIS EMPLOYEE! Earlier last year, my boyfriend got a gift certificate for a facial for me there from an employee who worked there at the time. Specifically, the employee offered him a facial for $60 (rather than the usual $75). My boyfriend paid $75 however, and specifically told the employee that he wanted to pay the additional $15 for tip so I wouldn't have to pay any money for gratuity when I came. NOT INFORMED, THEREFORE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! – I live in the neighborhood and recently went in for an apt. I was very disappointed as I had not been informed that Marybeth had left the salon. She is the only estheician I would go to in Charlotte. In fact that is the only reason I went to the salon to begin with. She was awesome and made it a treat everytime I came to her. That place has alot to own up to now. I will not be going back, as I feel that they just wanted my money for the service and were not honest!

My Mom was not impressed – I purchased a gift certificate over the phone for my mother. The man on the phone was helpful and did as he said and mailed the gift for me. My mom is easily pleased but she did let me know of her disappointment with this place. She went in with her gift certificate and asked for a peel. They took her certificate from her at that time. Amazing and Affordable Service! – I went to Georgetown for a haircut because their rates were cheaper than other salons *only $45 as opposed to $65-100*, I had Janice and she was incredible! She really listened to what I wanted and wanted to get to know me in order to asses the best style and cut for my lifestyle! She's incredible and I received multiple compliments on my hair that same day! Diamond in the Ruff.. spa hidden joy of charlotte.... – Like a Diamond in the ruff...Georgetown is nestled in a quiet neighborhood right near uptown! I was able to come right after work and be pampered by their staff with great southern hospitality! I recieved a great 60 min massage and manicure & pedicure combo! They rub you with great hands and spirit! And the Foot massage is to die for! You definatley need to check out georgetown, if you haven't already!
I especially enjoy my facials and massages – I am writing in regards to the previous comment. I have been a regular at the spa over 3 years and I have never had a complaint, apart from the bathroom being a bit cold. Everyone seems to always go out of their way and I enjoy all of the skincare treatments I get there. not a true spa facial – I have had many facials before. I usually go to Modern salon and spa, but decided to try this place out based on reviews. The man at the front desk was very pleasant. He seemed like he really cared about my business. The esthetician, however, did not. She left the room while both of my masks were on. At Modern, they never leave the room. THE Best Facial I have ever had! A very pleasant waxing experience too, quick and precise!! – I had a wonderful experience at Georgetown Spa. I disagree with the last comment about John. He always lets me zone out during his massages. The facial and waxing I had done was far and beyond what I have ever experienced at some of the more over-priced and over-rated quote and quote DAY SPA"S and resorts. The best!
