If this restaurant was casual dining, I would rate it higher but since it is more fine dining, I expected a bit of a higher bar to be met. . . The Chef’s salad was fresh, and the small portion option on the menu was quite generous. The dressing was overwhelmed with the taste of vinegar; I would adjust the ratio of vinegar to olive oil. I grow fresh produce at home and always make my own dressing, there is a standard of 1:3 vinegar to oil for a palatable salad dressing, I think the chef is far off this ratio. We went to George’s on Harbour this evening for dinner. There were 4 adults, 2 toddlers, and a 5-month-old in our group. Our waitress, Samantha, was absolutely amazing. Honestly, the food could have been terrible, and we still would have had a wonderful experience because of her. For the record, though, the food was incredible. My wife and I were on a adventure up in kincardin and sauble beach area and decided to have dinner at George’s highly rated and let’s say we weren’t disappointed After meeting the most genuine and friendly head chef and our waitress Saige was absolutely amazing andd all food from our apps /mains / dessert ( brownie/ tiramisu) The whole experience was top notch and well recommended Bill and Deb from mississauga
We had an incredible dinner at George’s on Harbour! The atmosphere here is amazing, offering a gorgeous, front-row view of the sunset directly over the lake. The hospitality was truly next-level. The owner was extremely friendly and took the time to come by our table to chat, which was a wonderful personal touch.
