The photos on the website of the interior of Hickory Cottage are accurate but the photos of the exterior and the property, including the beach, are very outdated and do not reflect the way it looks now. It is very run down currently. All the other build on either side of Hickory, which are part of Georges Mills Cottages, are very run down and appear to be long term rental properties with residents. We booked a cottage with plans to go skiing at Sunapee for 2-3 days but unfortunately we were hit with a severe ice storm the first day there. It caused us to not really be able to do anything and my kids got very antsy. The host was extremely accommodating and understanding and even went as far as reimbursing us for a day as we decided to leave earlier than planned. The cottage was spacious and well stocked and the host was very communicative the entire time. 10/10 for location and service!
