George's is a fun spot in Cedar Falls, with great food. Their staff make you feel special and welcomed, and our server was helpful in selections. Not a huge pesc or veg menu, but the food all seemed really good for the others in my group. I had the Green Goddess Salad and it had burrata (cheese). Good, but too much dressing for my taste.
Let’s start with the ABSOLUTE highlight of our trip here. Kaylynn was a total gem, I don’t think we’ve laughed that much as a family in a restaurant ever and that’s down to the fun and sass and general awesomeness of Kaylynn. We both worked as servers, bartenders and in retail a long time ago and know the job, she was honestly brilliant. We had a good time and enjoyed the food.
George's Local was recommended to me by a co-worker and I finally got around to trying it. Tried the beast burger and shrimp ceviche. I would recommend this shrimp ceviche to anyone who loves shrimp and pineapple! Everything was delicious. We enjoyed our outdoor seating on the patio. Also Great cocktails!
