Place has sadly been run into the ground since being taken over earlier this year. The magic is well and truly gone. They also can't spell George, never a great sign. March 2026 update: After just one year they seem to be closing this down now. A quite amazing demolition job by the new owners. *slow clap*
new owners seem to be a little greedy with portion sizes - expect to overpay for smaller portions of chips
The quality of the food has changed in the last 6 months. Undercooked fish and overcooked burgers, it has gone from being a reliable local treat to being avoided now if I'm being honest. Really disappointed.
Cant speak for the fish and chips but the piri piri chicken was incredible
Tastes like s**** smokey room ,unpeeled mouldy potatoes
