When I was scheduled for the initial appointment I was.assured it was with a provider not an NP. Fast forward I get a text.message that confirms for a NP. I call and am once again assured it is with the provider. Go to the appointment and it is in fact with the NP. They want to run all these test and do an EGD without me ever meeting the provider until the day of the EGD. Amd then follow up would be with a NP. I want to begin by stating that I respect Dr. Yates and value his clinical expertise. My concerns are not with him personally, but with the office processes, staff interactions, and inconsistent guidance I have received. I was contacted by the office regarding a laboratory result that was described as serious. After reviewing the result myself, I became understandably concerned and called back to request guidance and an earlier appointment with the physician.
