My experience at George Washington Cemetery although I was about to do something hard and something I really didn’t want to do. Akil Allen made it a painless for me. He was friendly and even funny at times that had me laughing. I would recommend George Washington Cemetery to anyone that are in need to lay their love ones to rest
My mother has been buried here for 9 years, everything was fine, we were aware of the two clean-ups every year, and every clean- up they have gone around my mothers headstone and taken dead flowers. There was an incident where we left a snow globe there and they threw it away. Fine, whatever. That was on us for not taking it before cleaning, but the headstone was left alone. This year they threw away her headstone using the excuse that it is not a “permanent” headstone and no possible way to retrieve it. It’s been there for ... read more
