Dr Vavilis and his NP are outstanding care providers. Dr Vavilis is not only above and beyond competent but caring and appropriate in their evaluation and plan of care. Time spent with the patient is exceptional and personal as well as done in a timely manner. CHS is fortunate to have Dr Vavilis and his team as a face of endocrinology. I do not believe the messaging and scheduling is a direct reflection of the doctor or NP as this is run by CHS itself.
The staff & Dr V are usually excellent. I was there for 1 hour & 20 minutes I had my vitals & A1C taken & when I had to leave I received a text stating I miss my appt. Clearly nurse Kathleen Poscillico is apathetic about people's valuablr time or shes incompetent. Be sure you never have to see her or my advice is reschedule your appt.
Ladies, save your time and find a different Endocrinologist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He DID NOT let me express my concerns and then turned the entire appointment into a weight loss lecture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is extremely unkind and will speak to you like you are an idiot. Basically told me all my symptoms are made up and I need to go to the gym and lessen my calories...when I told him I have been trying to do that but I have very real symptoms that hinder me from losing weight he said " No. You're not listening to me."
