The technician from George & Sons Carpet Cleaners began the carpet cleaning by stepping on the rug with his shoes. After I mentioned shoe covers, he promptly put them on when he stepped outside to grab the hose for the next part of the job. He continued to enter and exit the house while wearing the shoe covers to retrieve more equipment. This somewhat diminished the effectiveness of the shoe covers as he tracked in some dirt. I think there is a scam going on with one of their subcontractors. Just so you know, they may send random guys who have no idea what they are doing. They didn’t actually remove all the soap, it was soaking wet in spots, and they charged $650 for a 3 bedroom home with no carpet stair and one hallway when I was quoted $189. They up charged me last minute after changing the time they were coming and I was trying to put my toddler to bed.
