Based on some reviews I visited this establishment and I really wanted to love them but the food just didn't live up to my expectations. The chicken is fried overly hard. The chicken lovers in my home agreed it could've been way better. The fries aren't tasty and seemed greasy/old Everyone doesn't like overly hard fried chicken. The shrimp were a nice size but had too much batter on them were also fried hard and also detected a taste of extra spicyness in the batter for some reason. Did not know this in advance. We are traveling from Pennsylvania. This chicken was so good. We dipped it in the mild BBQ sauce, which was also delicious. Everything was made right there in front of you. There is a wait because of that but worth it. Come to PA! You'd make a killing because we dont have chicken like this haha. Specifically York, Pa.
The prices on the menu bird are different from what they charge. Also they don’t give proper change or a receipt. Food was just ok . Not sure if all of the reviews are legitimate.
Walked into George's chicken small gem located inside C.C. Hills. Everyone seemed to be family working in the kitchen. Move over Harolds I believe George's is our family new chicken spot. Pleased to know they have real cat fish thats very tasty that needs no sauce. Happy One Year Anniversary . Unitl the next time I'm out.
