Dr. Christophi is the best gastroenterologist and best doctor I've ever had. I've had ulcerative colitis for 15 years and have seen countless doctors, and he is the first who I ever felt genuinely cared about my well-being. Having Chron's disease himself, he understands what it's like to have an IBD. Additionally, he does research and is on the cutting edge of treatment. I saw Dr. Christophi once in July 2018. He spent a lot of time with me talking but never actually examined me. I've had ulcerative colitis for 30+ years and had been in a flare for several months. He gave me samples of Lialda & took me off the other drugs I'd been taking. When the samples ran out, I called & talked to Angie (it took 2 days to connect with her) who told me to just take Imodium up to 8/day until I could get on the Humira assistance program. Dr Christophi is the best doctor I’ve ever had. Even though my Crohn’s is hard to get under control and I’ve had a bad flare up the last two years, Dr Christophi seems like he actually cares and will explain things very well to you. Like the symptoms you’re having, the results of procedures like colonoscopys, and the medications that he wants to put you on. He always answers my questions very well too. He’s a great guy.
Dr Christophi is amazing. He is so patient & calming. I never feel rushed. He answers all questions & he is very compassionate. I would recommend him to everyone!!
