If youre coming with kids during the day (for the solar experience), they will like it. However, I will say that for adults it is okay. You get to see one telescope and see the sun, which is really cool. Then you see a telescope used for stars and the astronomer teaches you things but there's no exploration. There is a craft time that I think is wonderful for children about 10 and under. But the issue is that during that time, adults who paid for a solar tour are doing nothing.
