Dr. Alcorn is wonderful. He is professional and very knowledgeable about all aspects of medicine. As a retired RN in Cincinnati I have worked with various physicians over 35 years. Dr Alcorn listens and is very easy to converse with. He saved my life 8 years ago following abdominal surgery. I developed klebsiella pneumonia and he got me back to normal after about a week in ICU and numerous IV antibiotics. I thank God for sending Dr Alcorn to me. "Doctor" Alcorn, You told my father after he went to the ER multiple times in June/July that you needed to get him away from all the other Norton KDH doctors who were telling him he had cancer, because all he had was a lung infection, requiring antibiotics. You were aware his wife, my mother, was also dying of cancer. She passed away in early July.. He trusted you in his time of pain, fear, and grief. How dare you... My experience with this Doctor should Not happen to any one. Your suppose to Trust your Doctor, and that doesn't happen here. l was injured in a car accident, I now have Metal, cadaver bone, and brace in my neck, from a person playing on her phone while driving, and she rear-ended me. I was told that I would have to live on pain pills or suffer. I'm taking a low dose pain pill three times a day! ( That's Not really helpful). I've been with DR ALCORN, I believe around 4-5 year's. My wife and I went to see Dr Alcorn one day and I had a question for him. My question was "would it be possible for me to get my pain medication through you instead of driving 80 miles to get them at commonwealth Pain and Spine." I haven't even gotten half of that sentence out when Dr Alcorn lit into me about the rules and regs of narcardic meds. He was acting like a mad man. He would not let us speak.
