Dr. Kannankeril Is one of the worst providers I've had the misfortune of being referred to. He told me that after a serious car wreck where I was t-boned with serious whiplash that left me unable to move my neck after an entire month that there was absolutely no way I herniated discs in my neck and it would be a waste of time and resources to order imaging, despite my neurologist stating she felt that there were palpable lumps in my neck in two areas that weren't there prior to the MVA. Seems to genuinely care, but doesn't keep up on recent contemporary information about chronic pain. He seems to believe any kind of pain thats not from a recent injury is, " in your head." Even overuse injuries that developed over years like the problems with my muscles. I've now read many books and studies that clearly describe the way the pain actually functions, and in reality all pain technically is in your head, that's where it's processed, not at the site of an injury...
