Rude nurse and they didn't tell me that my insurance was no longer in the network.Recived a large bill I had to pay
While vacationing on SGI, my daughter started having difficulty breathing so we took her to this ER. I felt that all staff was friendly and compassionate and took good care of our girl. The building is a bit dated, but everything was clean. Hopefully we never have to return, though if we do, I know we will be in good hands.
Went to er with severe back pain ongoing for two weeks with numbness in toes. Dr walked in said stand on toes, on heels, raise each leg ( which barely could do) said I didn’t have pinched nerve; it was just muscle. Prescribed cream for pain and walked out. No tests or X-rays or any films. Just in room less than 5 min. Went to other medical where they xrayed and listened as I described symptoms. They seemed concerned about numbness in toes. X-rays showed scoliosis, narrowing of lumbar discs where it would be pinching on nerve... read more
If you have no other option than the Weems emergency room, I highly recommend you perform an internet search to double check the diagnosis and treatment! I went to Weems ER in 2023 for an infected eye. Dr. Patrick Conrad diagnosed me with a Corneal Ulcer, however; he treated me for a Corneal Abrasion. Unfortunately I trusted his care and did not check his treatment against standard care by reputable medical facilities.
