If you are using Super Shuttle, check in as quickly as you can. They put you in queue for a driver and it can take as long as 30 mins. Trust me, I learned from sad experience.

Whoever designed Terminal E is insane. I ended up in C for ground transportation.

Eat at papasito's for great cooked-to-order fajitas and inexpensive bottles of corona and dos equis.

Give yourself plenty of time in between connecting flights to hunt down a restroom. When you find one, don't be surprised by uncleanliness. I prefer Hobby.

Passenger-laden carts careen through each terminal with speeds normally reserved for jets. Listen for the loud, if half-hearted warning shouts by cart drivers to prevent certain doom while ambling by.
