Nice airport when there’s no Covid
Visually, The airport is beautiful. But American Airlines customer service sucks. Horrible experience from beginning to end.
Be careful when you need to travel and you are the airport while Covid is around. Airport does not support safety measurements and neither to airlines (United Airlines at least) until your are inside the plane. People hanging around without face masks and they do nothing about it, employees want you to squeeze in lines without caring about physical distance.

Not only did a cockroach find its way to my leg from an overnight lay over but the seats, tables, floors were absolutely filthy. I mean food caked in between the rails, stains, and wet puddles that smelled like pee everywhere. The “cleaners” just put a wet floor sign and blasted music and talked with each other. Being that there is a “pandemic” I did not see any cleaning or sanitizing absolutely mortified.

We travel often and this is The worst airport we have ever been too! It’s filthy, the employees are absolutely rude and disrespectful if you can avoid this airport at all cost! They don’t even have a working shuttle so we had to pay for a Uber from One terminal to another after coming in internationally! Stay away!
Staff was rude from TSA, and the airport was dirty. There was no regard for social distancing and certainly plenty of cross contamination with the careless practices. Clearly this airport is one major reason why COVID-19 and the state of Texas is struggling - people aren’t taking responsibility here.
Everyone is always so rude at this airport!! Been coming here for years and it's never improved. 👎🏽
