This place needs a decent bar or restaurant. For a city with as much industry as Houston, the airport is surprisingly feeble. Burgers, pizza, and snack food: that's all that's offered.

Luggage takes forever. Also if you arrive on a domestic flight terminal E, you'll have to walk to C to get your luggage. Fun times.

Good airport, friendly staff. United lounge by gate C is great. From the UK watch out if you need to take money out as the ATMs aren't compatible with UK chip and pin cards.

I'll tell you what isn't good here. Customs and immigration. Do yourself a favor and get Global Entry. Don't wait hours waiting in line. Only airport in in the world that doesn't have Crew line.
