Great B&B for our overnight stay!
We stayed at this bed-and-breakfast for two nights and three days and had a lovely time. It is just shy of Saint Michael’s so it’s a really quick trip into town from the location. The staff was super friendly, kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. We celebrated our anniversary here and had a terrific time. Can’t wait to come back.
The George Brooks Inn is a Gem! We booked the entire inn for my wedding weekend in St. Michael’s. We had our family and wedding party stay with us at the inn and it was a spectacular time! Each room was spacious enough for our guests and had a full bathroom. The outdoor pool and gardens were a perfect gathering location! The inn is charming and the outdoor grounds were beautiful. St Michael's is a very nice destination and to stay at the George Brooks House was a great choice. Thr breakfast was outstanding, service superb and amenities awesome. Bottled water and canned soda were stocked in a patio fridge for guests to access 24/7 as well as coffee 24/7. A nice selection of DVD/Blu-ray movies. I can't speak for every room, but we had a Blu-ray player in our room and big screen TV. Room was clean, toilet had some iron stains in it, but room was clean and tidy. The George Brooks House is down the road a bit from the St. Michael’s restaurant/shops area, so slightly too far to walk, but there is plenty of free parking downtown so driving was not a problem. The house is nice and we had our own entrance, which we liked a lot. Breakfast was very good and service was friendly. The room was clean with exception of the bathroom - the shower doors had a lot of soap scum buildup. There were cracked tiles, water damage on the ceiling, and rust on the door and pipes.
