The reviews of 2 years ago are positive for GUS but, frankly, they seem to have lost the plot. I was allocated GUS via Western Power and given the choice, I would never choose them. Admin is uncontactable - they don't answer the phone nor respond to emails. Jobs scheduled saw traffic management on site but no GUS and there is no notice of when anyone was to be on site (three failures to show up) with schedules being effectively meaningless. Absolutely useless. zero stars. Western power please find another sub contractor you are losing business with these muppets.
I was dreading the installation of my gasline because my front garden had only recently been landscaped and I expected it to be badly damaged. However the guys from G.U.S. were respectful, thoughtful, friendly and helpful and the job was a great deal less stressful than I'd expected. They were also very constructive in their negotiations with the extremely unhelpful subcontractor from ATCO.
