Dr. Keenan is very bright and enthusiastic and had a friendly demeanor. He took a very detailed medical history and did a thorough exam. However, I felt he spent too much time talking about pain theory and we watched part of a YouTube video about it. This made me feel that because he did not find a specific reason for my pain, he was implying my pain was somehow phantom or only in my mind, which was insulting. I agree with the person who said "don't waste your time." Dr Keenan, when he finally showed up, was condescending and didn't even look at my imaging as far as I know because he was too busy explaining that my excruciating and medically-documented pain condition was due to "stress" and "anxiety" and pushing mindfulness meditation like it was some new miracle cure no one had ever heard of (I have meditated for 25 years--there are some great things about meditation but if meditation was a solution to my life-wrecking chronic pa... read more
Please don't waste your time. Quick to blame all pain on stress and anxiety. Absolutely no eye contact or bedside manner.
This dr, did not even look at my imaging, he automatically assumed he knew what I had and clearing 8 months later it's not a dang muscle...I dont reccomend this dr at all
The ladies at the front desk & even the nurse were great! Dr. Keenan, not so much. He interrupted me multiple times while I was trying to explain to him my situation. As he was recommended that I go see from my doctor (I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND HIM). And then jumped to conclusions & even told me that I didn't get injured. He apparently didn't read any of my doctor's notes! I had to tell him twice that I did get injured...he argued with me!... then left the room not to be seen again! Very rude!!!!
I was referred to Dr. Keenan, who was described as the doctor to whom other doctors referred patients with complex difficult to diagnose and treat conditions in his field. I am in that category. As such I have realistic expectations. I am confident that I am receiving the best that can be done.
