I rarely write negative reviews, but in this instance, I feel so ignored as a potential patient of Dr. Wilkes, that I felt I had to provide this information to the public. This is how little the doctor and his staff concern themselves with the welfare of their patients. I had made an appointment two weeks ago, was told that an appointment 14 days out was the best they had. Even at my first visit to Dr.Wilkes, it was apparent that he had studied my case before I arrived, that he understood the complications of my case, and that he was prepared to suggest a solution. He was careful and sensitive, took me very seriously, and offered a possible solution to my problems. I shall happily be his patient should I need an ophthalmologist in the future.
