Not happy. Our first unit was good and was talked into an upgrade. Installer retired and this new improved unit is crap. Haven't had air conditioning last year in 2024 and this summer 2025. Repairs Haven't been able to get a replacement or parts for our unit. Would not recommend, as last winter we were forced to use room heaters for back up and over ride the system by turning on and off the unit to keep running. It died completely this summer. I hope, I can up grade my review someday. We finially got it repaired mid-August f... read more

I bought a GeoComfort geothermal heat pump about a year and a half ago. Two things influenced my decision, delivery and warranties. The mother board and all sensors had to be replaced in less than a year. Parts and labor were under warranty. It is now about a year and a half when the system shut down again. To make a long story short, the diagnosis was that it was a bad thermistor (sensor). It cost $1200 to find it and replace. The thermistor is about a $10 part covered by the parts warranty. The labor warranty covered $100 ... read more

When this system works, it’s a dream! And the warranty? Absolute gold—it covered my first two coil failures; parts and labor were included. But here I am in year 11, the warranty has packed its bags, and guess what? The coil has failed again. Now I can choose between dropping ~$3,500 for yet another coil or just replacing the whole system for an even spicier price. At this rate, coils should be as easy to swap out as air filters! Meanwhile, I’m sitting in my cold house, bundled up like a marshmallow, trying to decide whether... read more
