Sadly, I have a whole life policy from Genworth, purchased almost 30 years ag. They're out of that business now, but the idea of trusting them with ANY financial matters is unthinkable based on the abysmal customer service I've experienced. If Hell has a name, it's Genworth. My aunt lovingly included an annuity policy for me in her estate. Since she passed a year ago, I've been forced to send claim policy after claim policy, without explanation for the necessity of this, in an effort to obtain the money she left for me. It never ends; it appears that Genworth's strategy is to grind down the will of claimants until they give up on what's due to them.
