I've had numerous parties there over the years and it's an excellent place for the money. Food is awesome, prices are reasonable, place is always decorated great and the staff is really nice. I wouldn't count this place out just by reading the bad review that she was 20min late.
Mary Beth's food is not only the best food in town, but the MOST reasonable as well. She does not charge for her gorgeous hall, or center pieces and napkins like most places of business. I've had several family events there, and I've always been satisfied. Mary Beth always exceeds my expectations!
I had a meeting with Mary Beth on Friday to show me the building and decorations that would be used for our event. She was 20 minutes late and when she came, did not apologize, shake hands, introduce herself, etc! She was extremely short with me and only had 10 minutes to show building before she had to leave. She said "come back Sunday at 3 and I'll show you the rest and answer questions". I showed up today at 2:45 and waited until 3:30 and NO SHOW! I called her phone and cell twice and left a message.
