Got an oil change and the mechanic noticed a small leak near my power steering pump. I was told the whole thing needed replaced and I couldn't afford it so I left it alone. Went to another mechanic for a new alternator a year later and asked them to do the power steering at the same time. This mechanic noticed it was a faulty rubber washer and replaced it for me for free. Either Garry is incompetent or was trying to pad the bill.
This was my second time using Gentlemen's Foundation, after my first I knew that I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Both times Garry and his crew quickly identified and fixed the problem, and at a price that beat out the quotes we got from other garages. Very courteous and professional, this is a garage you will want to stay with.
Took vehicle to three other shops that couldn't figure out my electrical issue, Garry had it pinpointed within three days!
We were broken down with no where to go and our vehicle was towed to Gentlemen's Foundation. Garry went way out of his way to help and get us back on the road. Thank you Garry, your business definitely lives up the name Gentlemen's Foundation. Merrie & Jerry Mills Lebanon, ME
