So I was world traveler prior to moving back to the states, meeting my husband, getting engaged and pregnant all within the first 2 yrs of meeting. Amanda was an absolutely fabulous Hynobabies teacher and when my mom who was also going to be my doula wasn’t able to be there during part of my birthing time Amanda stepped in and was incredible. My baby was OP so the back labor was intense but Amanda was there every step of the way for us. I highly recommend taking her class and if you are looking for a doula she is one of THE BEST!!
Amanda was such an amazing an attentive doula. Even though I had some issues during the birth she reassured me of my decisions and was by my side almost the entire time! I would absolutely recommend her to any who is looking for a birth doula.
We hired Amanda for our second child’s birth as our doula and Hypnobabies instructor. Hypnobabies really helped shape a calm and confident birthing experience for me and my husband. This class is so much more than learning relaxation techniques. We learned everything from our legal rights in a hospital setting to how birthing partners can best provide support and comfort to the birthing person. I cannot say enough good things about Amanda!! I’m a single mom and she was the only support I had during my sons birth. I had taken hypnobabies classes with her and she talked me through my waves and was so so supportive. I had an extremely quick birth with no complications after having a pretty traumatic experience with my first birth. She helped me use my voice at the hospital when things after birth were about to be done that were going against what I had requested in my birth plan.
