I took my 13-year-old daughter there to have two baby teeth extracted. I went against my better judgment to take her there, because I was a dental assistant for 15 years and I know many excellent pediatric dentist. Looks are deceiving. I refused to do an xray ON MY 3 YR OLD. The doctor pushed for the xray still then I Proceeded to ask questions. How much radiation does this machine cause THEY COULDNT TELL ME. What the doctor did proceeded to explain was eating a banana was a certain level of radiation. As a parent, I felt this doctor was hindering my intelligence and not being forthcoming, which is all highly alarming when you’re dealing with children.
