Hired this company for stretcher services for a discharge from the hospital. They only sent 1 employee although I was told that there would be two employees which is expected b/c how would you get the patient from the stretcher onto their bed???🤔 Needless to say a family member had to assist and it unfortunately still resulted in my family member ending up on the floor!!! I will never use this agency again!
We had an appointment set up for transportation for my 90 year old father, but then dad was taken ill today. So his very first ride with Gentle Heart was sort of rushed! NEVERTHELESS, transportation arrived swiftly, Chris (the driver) was kindness and gentleness personified, according to my dad's visiting nurse. They came to the rescue to transport my 93 old blind & in a wheelchair.Godmother who was stranded at Shands Eye Center and her van did not pick her up. They closed at 5pm. Our driver Chris picked her up to transport to Ocala. He was so caring of her during the trip home. Our family friend was riding with her . I would highly recommend this company! My family has used this service many times. Bruce gives fair pricing, and their system messages when they are on the way. We are lucky to get Chris as our driver every time. Chris arrives on time (every time), helps when needed, & is very courteous. I recommend this service for your wheelchair bound family/friends.
I cannot say enough nice things about Chris and the whole team. Professional, prompt, courteous, and caring. I will never use anyone else!
