Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital and Dr. Melissa are the best! I have taken all 3 pups there for a variety of medical problems and surguries and the care has always been excellent, the offices spotless and the staff very responsive. Everyone there is caring and compassionate, my pups are always wagging their tails and happy when they go in - and my 3 are not the most social of pups :) I live in Ft Leonard Wood area, and while the vet care is okay for vaccinations and routine checkups - they do not have any specialty care that I... read more
Gentle Doctor is the BEST Animal Hospital. The entire staff is so friendly from the moment you step foot in the door. Dr. Melissa will go above and beyond to make sure you are informed. She removed a cancerous tumor from my dog Maverick over a year ago and he has been doing great ever since. My coworker also went there and had a different doctor who she loved as well! Absolutely horrible. I took my pup in for an emergency pancreatitis and spent 3-5 minutes with the actual Dr.. The rest of the time I spoke only to the vet tech. Everything was poorly translated from vet tech who at one point said my dog had a good chance of dying and after my hysterical breakdown, she talked with the Dr. and came back saying it was all o.k. she "misunderstood" what the doctor had said.
