I was in an extremely uncomfortable situation with a PCA and reached out for help by calling Erica. Instead of receiving support, I was made to feel blamed and dismissed, as though the situation was entirely my fault. That response was deeply upsetting and has had a lasting impact on me. After signing up with this company , it took a week to have a person available for only 2 hours. That person wasn’t a Caretaker she didn’t give a shit  of taking care of the client needs, she was very unprofessional by saying see me as family 👀 WTF and more crazy stuff , she abandoned the client and called her company in so called tears telling them the client was rude . Addus used to be great but i wouldn't give a blown penny for they're workers or the way they neglect client's who have had caregivers since 04

DO NOT use this organization to care for your loved one. A dog would be a better option.

this company is a joke, the local manager does not even have the courtesy to return your phone calls I had two caregivers. The first one was always late or calling in sick. The second one was lazy and just decided to not come back without any notifications. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have had Addus HomeCare weekly services for about six months. I keep an appointment book, so I am certain of their facts. Their employees (there have been about six different ones) show up only 50% of the weekly time for which they have been scheduled. The turnover rate is extremely high. They usually cancel within 1 hour of the time they are scheduled to work. Two of them have been very dependable, one of which left to go to college.
