It was a complete team effort from our first visit with admissions all the way to his last day on earth. The nurses, aids, social worker and chaplain were second to none. I’ve never been involved with such an incompetent organization as Gentiva Hospice in Brownwood, Tx. My wife has been with them for about a week now because of her terminal cancer and all that they’ve accomplished is to totally change and foul up her pain meds and cause her to go without her meds and be in total mental and physical distress. She was also told that if she went to the ER during her time as “their” patient, she would be dismissed as a Gentiva patient.
