Gentiva Hospice went above and beyond to provide care for my husband who had suffered a severe stroke. They also provided me such caring and helpful support as the caregiver. I can’t say enough good things about Gentiva Hospice and the care they provided for my grandma during such a difficult time. I was her primary caregiver, and their team supported not only her, but me as well in ways I’ll never forget. Megan, her CNA, was absolutely amazing. I know that my family would not have been able to cope with our mother’s illness had it not been for our nurse , Makayla! She went far above and beyond the conventional standards and practices of care, looking after our mother as if she were her own. She is one in a million and exemplifies what nursing should be. Makayla will forever be a part of our family!
Both of my parents are patients with this office and the first thing I'd like to say is that Nurse Barbie Wellman is my savior. Her clinical expertise, attention to detail, communication and kindness guided us through the most difficult times of our lives.
