A friend of mine recently went in for a referral and decided within the first 5 minutes of her visit that she would be referred to someone else. I am not sure how or where asking Siri for medical knowledge infront of a patient is ever appropriate or normal. She felt unwelcome, belittled, and unheard by Dr. Gentile. As a gyno, I think bedside manner is one of the most important things a doctor can have. Dr. Gentile definitely needs to work on that.
I really like Dr. Gentile. He made me feel comfortable from the first visit. He listened to my concerns and addressed each one. He took as mich time as I needed which I appreciated.
I'm very grown and been to a lot of doctors. If you need someone who listens and acknowledges you, he's the one. Suggested and performed an ablation and it went perfectly. It cleared all of my issues.
HORRIBLE DOCTOR! He did a hysterectomy on me years ago for fibroids. I had a recent ultrasound prior to the surgery stating my ovaries were normal, no family HX of ovarian cancer. I told him I wanted to keep them but he took them out anyway stating they looked bad. The post-op pathology report stated they were normal! He is unprofessional and untrustworthy. I've had health issues ever since he took my ovaries! He bragged to me about how quickly he got through my surgery! unbelievable!
I recently relocated from Mississippi and was in search of an OBGYN. I am so delighted to have found such an caring and knowledgeable doctor.
He's the best diagnostic Doctor. Been his patient many years. He's very professional. Dr Gentile has earned his reputation of being one of the best! Many years ago, I had gone to 5 doctors for severe headaches. They had scheduled me for nasal surgery. Dr Gentile diagnosed the problem, needed no surgery,! Superior Intelligence.
