GenPsych was an important part of my journey toward better emotional regulation and mental health. I participated in the DBT program, where I learned valuable skills for distress tolerance, mindfulness, and breathing techniques. The supportive atmosphere and caring staff created a safe and welcoming environment where I felt comfortable learning and growing. The program was really helpful and the staff are all very friendly and caring. I learned a lot from the in-person group sessions! My therapist Melanie was very professional and created an individualized action plan for me that has helped me maintain balance and consistency back into my life. I’m very grateful for the staff and how much effort they put into helping each and every one of their clients.

I’m still attending GenPsych, and the support I’ve received has been consistent and meaningful. Denise has been very supportive and compassionate through my ups and downs. She has created an environment where I feel safe. Chimena has been attentive and professional. I feel confident in my care. Jasmine has also been fantastic—organized and helpful. She runs the front smoothly and always with a smile. Overall, this has been a very well-coordinated program.

My experience at GenPsych was absolutely life changing. I was on the DBT track and by graduation, I was fully equipped with very useful tools to use both in and out of crisis. The therapists are all very caring, wonderful people. I had the privilege of working individually with Melanie Luque, LAC, NCC, and my experience with her was one that I will never forget. My child is currently in her third week at GenPsych, and so far we’ve had a very positive experience. The staff has been kind and helpful throughout the entire process. They responded quickly with all the information I needed to complete registration, which made everything feel smooth and organized. The therapist has been willing to truly listen to my concerns and has made thoughtful efforts to accommodate them. That has meant a lot to us as parents.
