Started out with a different Genoa pharmacy location but switched to Edina due to problems with constant staff issues..I started about 8 months ago. Things were going well and I was very satisfied. Recently, I have had problems with one particular staff person (not the pharmacist) in her demeanor, and her sending my refills out NOT as requested; ie sending them UPS when I specifically asked for them to be sent via the regular mail...she has also made inappropriate comments to me. The pharmacist Angie feels comfortable changing your prescriptions at her whim and also yells at you from behind the counter and over the phone but refuses to talk with you face to face, awful experience and a real bully. I’ve had no issues ever with Stacy but Angie is a real shame, my grandson has to change pharmacies due to being bullied here and pushed over the edge by Angie. You’d think as a mental health pharmacy, there would be more training on how to be KIND.
The pharmacist Angie is extremely rude and disrespectful. I called this pharmacy a total of two times to inquire about a medication. When I called the second time Angela raised her voice at me and told me she “couldn’t continue to stay on the phone with me.” I had maybe spent a total of 3 minutes on the phone with her today. No concern that I was out of a medication which can’t be stopped suddenly without serious potential risk. I feel very uncomfortable with this whole experience.
This company Genoa is a great company as a pharmacy. However, the pharmacist at this specific location feels it necessary for her to make her own decisions in your health and doesn’t care what the patient has to say privacy isn’t totally something she deals with either. I would recommend going to any other of their locations besides this one I was with them for a while and all I had was problems with the manager and the pharmacist as they didn’t want to send my pills to me in a timely manner so I wouldn’t go without.
