The pharmacist recommended another version of a pain medication that he wouldn’t have trouble ordering. My pain mgmt doctor agreed so I thought everything was fine. But it’s not fine. I wish I had what everyone else received. I came to pick up my medication and they didn’t get it in, or I needed to be interviewed by the pharmacist. After he spoke with me he said he added, “priority,” so I’d get it on Friday. I was there on a Thursday. My next appointment for a refill is the day before I run out. My provider refuses to call it in 8/28/2026 so I can pick it up Monday, 8/31/2026. It was suggested I ordered a similar medication, but the APRN refuses until I’m there in person.
