Best Italian cuisine in Central NJ. – Gennaro's offers high quality delicious Italian cuisine in a relaxed setting. Far from being your average menu. My personal favorite is an appetizer of Greens Genarro, with Lobster Ravioli and Chocolate Hazelnut gelato for dessert. I have been a patron for years and it is my "go to" place for all special occasions.
not my favorite – My experience was not as I had hoped. I don't wish to be mean, I just think these guys are out of their comfort zone. This would be a great pizza place or quick pasta, it's just not anywhere near fine dinning.
attentive service...spectacular cuisine – I liked La Terraza... but I love Gennaro's, this engaging establishment's reincarnation. The original La Terraza made its debut in 1999 under the proprietorship of Gennaro Costabile . The light and airy precincts charm patrons with stucco walls, terra cotta tile, lace window panels enlivened with colorful draperies, and beige over green napery.
