Dr Sweet has a great professional approach; clearly described my situation with the treatment options that she recommends without being too pushy. As the patient she supports the fact that the decision is always mine. My only regret with the treatment protocol choice was that I should have done more research; the primary disease treatment, radiation, results positively match expectations but some of the lingering side effects of the supportive treatment, HST, were not. Great Dr and staff, she really explains everything very clearly. Discuss option with complete transparency.
Highly recommend Dr Sweet and her staff. She always takes plenty of time and discusses her diagnosis and recommendation for treatment, The final decision is always yours and she never tries to rush your decision. Her follow up appointments are equally comprehensive. Her staff is always equally friendly and helpful. I have been treated by other Urologists in the past, but Dr Sweet is far and away the most professional I would not consider switching to any other Urologist.
Update: I had the procedure and stent done today by a fabulous urologist (not Dr Sweet), and he said things looked pretty bad. My stone had been in there a long time and had a lot of pus around it. Even the recovery and stent is extremely painful. Dr Sweet should not have put this off. I was in the ER with a build-up of an 8mm kidney stone at the most narrow part of my ureter. My kidney was full of fluid and my ureter swollen. The ER doc got Dr Sweet on the phone and she told him to send me home because you can pass up to a ... read more
