Geneva Beach Resort is on the site of the oldest resort north of the Twin Cities. History shows that this has been the site of quite a grand hotel vacation destination. People would travel by rail from all over the Midwest, bring their servants, and stay for a month or more at a time. The first Geneva Hotel was built in the 1800's and there have been 3 large hotels built on the site due to fires, etc. In the 1970's, the final hotel was torn down and some of the land sold. Great family owned resort in alexandria
Great family resort owned by a great family. Plenty for everyone to do, right on the bike trails, and easy access to town. Highly recommend!
Our summer stay at Geneva Beach Resort was a fantastic introduction to Minnesota lake life. The grounds and accommodations were impeccably maintained. The resort's activities, including boat and jet ski rentals, paddle biking, and water trampolines, provided endless fun. Cami and Craig, the hosts, were exceptionally kind and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our stay. Overall, Lake Geneva is a top-notch destination for those seeking a memorable and enjoyable lakeside retreat. Highly recommended!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Geneva Beach Resort. The kids had a blast at the beach area. They have two huge floating trampolines connected by a blow up bridge, and these provided non-stop entertainment. There were many options for water activities and enough equipment that you never had to wait. There are stand up paddle boards, 4 person paddle boats, mini paddle boats, and bike pontoon boat things.
