It is a sad state of affairs when a place like Forest Hills can kick out a patient during a global pandemic. The staff was always kind to my brother, but to kick him out because of money and insurance, into a world where a virus could kill him, is cruel and the opposite of compassionate. They put money over the health of my brother, and that is unforgivable. Shame on you Forest Hills. RecommendedMy mom was there for rehab. On her first day there the facility had to stop visitation because of the pandemic. We were crushed! The staff was so loving and caring. They helped my mom get through it and really encouraged her to work. Every time I spoke with her she had wonderful things to say about the care she was receiving. The staff was always willing to speak with me. She adored the staff so well, I was starting to think she wouldn’t want to come home lol! RecommendedNot to bad of a place. My Mom and Grandma are there. It’s good because it’s close to were I live. Mom and Grandma are together. The downside is that neither can walk or do things for themselves. Sometimes they have to sit for a long time just to get to the bathroom. Even when they put the light on. I’ve seen patients in the lunch room that can’t feed themselves just sitting there without being feed. I think the main problem is they don’t have enough workers.
