I am submitting this review to formally document my dissatisfaction with the service practices at North Genesis Calgary. Over a period of approximately two months, my vehicle experienced four separate Check Engine Light (CEL) occurrences, later confirmed to be related to defective components, including the thermal sensor and MAP sensor. These components were covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, and at the time, my vehicle was also entitled to five years of complimentary scheduled service. I've had couple of Genesis vehicles and I always had a positive experience from sales department to service department at this location. Joshua Carvalho, the manager is always great to deal with and always helpful. Overall, two thumbs up!
UPDATE It has been decided. I won’t be keeping this vehicle for the long term. Unfortunately the service quality has not improved. I’ve had issues driving a GV70 because of the “safety features” interrupting, intervening or warning me at inappropriate times. If the car doesn’t think it did anything wrong obviously it’s not going to show any codes so nothing is resolved. I dont feel comfortable in the car anymore, and they “checked” and tried to replicate the issue after I almost crashed because of their safety features. Of c... read more

Dishonest and Untrustworthy! I was dealing with BK, a car sales representative who was completely dishonest. They agreed on a price upfront, but then tried to charge me extra later. When you make a deal with a customer, you must honor the agreed price—not go back on your word or the bill of sale. This kind of shady business practice is unacceptable and should be reported to the authorities for investigation. Avoid this place—SCAMMERS!
