If I could leave no stars I would have. Extremely disappointed with Genesis. They have closed several local dealerships, leaving customers with very limited options for service. I was told my only Genesis service option is Cerritos—over 1½ hours each way on a good day from my home, and I would be lucky to even get a loaner. Genesis offered an independent shop as an alternative, but that does not provide the same access to a Genesis service department or guarantee the use of genuine Genesis parts. I purchased my brand new G70 in August 2025. 18 miles on it. Beautiful car. I took my car in for service-oil change and tire rotation- on 6/19/2026 and since then it hasn’t been the same. On 6/22, while driving the oil light came on followed by the entire dash lighting up and everything shutting down. I was stranded on the side of the road and it had to be towed to the dealership. Bought a certified pre-owned Genesis G80 from a Genesis dealership in Texas just over a year ago. I just found out when my car had an issue that they never submitted the certified pre-owned on the vehicle that's my car is not showing up with the CPO warranty. I have been fighting this for weeks and even have in writing from the original dealership that they made the mistake, but they're requiring me to drive all the way back 600 miles to the dealership in order for them to do the CPO certification. If zero stars were an option, that is what I would be leaving. We purchased a BRAND NEW GV80in January 2026. Beginning in April we could hear a rattling/knocking noise. We took it to our local dealership and they tried to replace parts but no improvement. Since April until now (August 10) our vehicle has been in the shop 5+ times (often for weeks at a time) and has currently been there for over a month. I own a 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70, and this has been one of the most frustrating and concerning experiences I’ve had with any vehicle. At just 20,000 miles, the tires were already completely worn down which is unacceptable on its own for a so called luxury vehicle. But what takes this to another level is that I experienced a tire blowout as a direct result.
