Korina Gonzalez, director of recreational and assistant Loretta Padilla, are doing a great job here at Genesis Homecare in Clovis, NM. The place is always clean when we come for a visit and they are doing excellent with the residents here. The staff are very friendly and caring. My husband, Joe, who does Karaoke gigs for fun and Korina, after hearing it from my sister-in-law who is a resident here, what a great idea it would be for the residents to sing some Karaoke. Man! They don't show up when they make appointments, even if it's your very first one. First impressions are accurate with this place. Not only do they not show up, but even once they finally get around to it a week later.. They then tell you there are no caregivers for you. So, you fill out all this paperwork and waste your time to get services that you can't utilize anyway. Oh, and they like to try to shift the blame to the client or anyone else they can as well. Not impressed. Very first appointment was supposed to be this morning, to discuss home care/meet and greet. They did not even bother showing up, and did not bother to call to cancel either. I can already tell that this company is going to be nothing but problems. The main issue is, they are obviously not trustworthy. I no longer feel comfortable having them in my home even if they do rescedule. If they charge the insurance after not showing, I will report it.
