Incredible wait times just to talk to a human who then puts you on hold even longer. This is a massive managerial failure on the part of the leadership at this facility. They are completely understaffed and overworked and don't seem to care. Rather than hire more doctors, they just keep increasing patient loads for more profit at the cost of patient care quality. Don't waste your time with these people. Find a different doctor.
Doctor Binkley is very nice and I like him and so are the technicians but the phone nurse I dealt with there is VERY rude and condescending. I have also been treated very rudely by one of the reception desk ladies. I hate being treated like a little child and that's how I feel when I deal with these holier than thou people. I have been trying to get help with chronic joint pain for YEARS and I'm not always feeling the best when I talk to them and they should know that and not be so thin skinned about everything. I feel like healthcare @ Genesis has gone down hill significantly. It has nothing to do w/ Mercyone as they are amazing in all other locations in IA. Something has to change because I’m ready to leave the area or state to receive adequate basic care. The doctor that was assigned to me is nice, but information can be in front of his eyes, he reads it incorrectly, labs are not done when they need to be, & when your sick( not covid or flu) you get told to go to urgent care.
