The absolute worse management team I have ever experienced. All they care about are numbers and not patients or staff. Whoever is over the Teays valley genesis, not in house management but outside management, needs to put the hammer down. Something needs to be done. My friend has been a patient there for about a month and told me that there are about 3 people that works their butts off while others just walk around and bark orders, in a rude fashion I might add. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my dog!!

My mother is there and they don’t have phones in rooms. One phone for all residents to get calls. Now the main line is saying the horizon customer is not available to take your call. I live in NC and I have to call and ask to speak with her then they take my number to call back. I feel when I call it’s a bother and don’t get me wrong they’re probably short staffed and busy but you can still be pleasant to the caller just makes me wonder if they are pleasant with my mom. They have not done a thing for my friend. She went in for help and rehab. They have not got her up or took her to rehab. She on oxygen and a fall restrictive too. When go back to see her and if they still have not help her. I will make a call to whoever over Genesis. One good thing about it. It was clean and smell nice.
