Ana the person who identified them selfs as the GM of the place. Was completely disrespectful and acted very Voilently toward my entire family who was present. My 11 year old daughter as well as my 9 year old daughter and wife. Called us trash. We had a question about our membership and she had just got off the phone on a nasty personal phone call and she ended up taking it out on our entire family.. Me and my husband, we went to get information about membership last Sunday. They did not give any info, especially about membership fee, as if it was a top-secret information. The person who was in charge for sales did not have time to give us a tour and tell about the facility. He got our phone numbers and never called. It was extremely disappointing. The staff was quite unwelcoming. So we are never going back.
I enjoy working out at genesis, because everyone there watches out for each other and it's a relaxing atmosphere.
They are such scammers! Be aware, if you sign up for a certain amount of time, somewhere in fine print in the contract it says that you will continue to be billed after your original contract is up. Then you have to give a 30 day written cancellation notice. I didn't find out until I was over $150 in the hole to them and their payment company started calling me.
Worst fitness place I have ever been to. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 3mo now and they just keep giving me the run around. DO NOT JOIN
There location at Mesa way is great. Berry the Zumba instructor is awesome. The only problem I would have is very little parking for such a busy place and its starting to have a smell because the carpet is really old and needs replaced.
They will do whatever they can to sign you up for that contract and are sneaky about it.
Worst fitness center I have ever dealt with. I was lied to when I signed my contract. I paid for 2 years up front with the promise that if I needed to move they had places ALL OVER I could transfer to. Not the case. I have an unexpected move and have been told tough luck you are just out your money. LIARS LIARS LIARS.
