My NP was awesome that I had a few years- Josh. He scheduled me afternoon labs, the best time for me, and I could message him on the patient portal with simple issues and not have to come in for a visit every single time. Nearly everyone on the staff listens to patients and is pleasant to work with. I just transferred to the Darlington Genesis and everyone was pleasant on my first visit.
I am so thankful for Genesis Health Care in Lamar. I love everyone in the facility. They are so nice and caring. Loved Dr Barrett. He is really on top of it & cares about your health. He even went back ten years on my records & found out I had not had a Pneumonia shot. It had been so long that I could not remember. I will always appreciate him for it & all he did for us. I know God sent us there
It is ridiculous to my husband & I why you can't "walk-in" here in small town Lamar to seek medical care. You must 1st clear the hurdles of filling out an AP & doing bloodwork before you can be seen, a week later. My husband went there this morning early, one other apparent patient, 8 cars in the back. He wound up at Urgent Care in Florence - sinus infection. It would have been so easy for them to see him and get it done locally.
