The way Fitness Cartel Morayfield operates is unethical. When I joined, the staff filled in my details and submitted the agreement without letting me read it — no mention of the 12-month lock-in or $250 cancellation fee. The gym is good. Clean and lots of equipment. But have noticed a lot of the time when walking in and out that staff don’t acknowledge members - they are often talking amongst themselves. Have worked in gym reception myself before so I know what it’s like but I have seen this lack of acknowledgement of customers many times now and I think it’s just an easy part of customer service to pause the conversation with a colleague for a sec to give a smile or say hi/bye to a member ☺️

New layout of the upstairs leg equipment is shocking, complelty inconvenient when busy and too have the leg extension kicking out to a busy walkway between the treadmills is dumb, constantly nearly hitting people
