Mercy One isn't for our family. Major reason for leaving Clinton's medical facilities. Now they have taken over a collab with Genesis. That has now fallen to a new low level of care. We're now using the QCA Unity Point hospitals and Trinity in Illinois for medical care.

Went in with an irritated red eye Dr. was thorough finding a scratch on my eye prescribing medicated eye drops to help prevent infection. Fast & Pleasant staff all the way around !
I have been in this ER twice in last 2yrs. This last time was a 8days ago. I deal with fear and sickness with humor and my nurse and I kept it light the whole time. Was only there like 4hrs for labs, fluids and cat scan. Bad Kidney infection. And dehydrated. Had to switch antibiotics on Friday, but that was not their fault. I don’t react well to some (a lot) of meds. Feel great today. Kind nurses and PA. both times I’ve been there.
